Tutor Pamela MacLachlan

This is a mixed skill class with new, as well as, experienced weavers, we all share knowledge and enjoy laughs.

We prefer natural fibres such as Wool, Mohair, Alpaca, Angora, Silk, and Cotton but also use Rayon, Acrylic, Recycled fabric strips (ragwork) so anything goes.

Occasionally we do a trip to an exhibition to view other works and have lunch away.

Once a year, in the summer, we have a day dyeing – warps – skeins – silk scarves.

Students regularly create items to be shown at the annual exhibition at the end of September.
